Post No. 151: If I Could Heal The World

(Image from YouTube)

The Main Problem In
All Of Life Is That We All
Began As Literally Nothing
(Or, "If I Could Heal The World")

If I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main problem in
all of life is that we all
began as Literally Nothing.

And, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main solution in
all of life is that we can all
become Literally Everything.

Thus, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main reason all of life
is so challenging is that we all
began as Literally Nothing.

And so, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main reason all of life
is so rewarding is that we can all
become Literally Everything.

That is why, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main conflict with all of us
being so negative is that we all
began as Literally Nothing.

Therefore, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main resolution with all of us
being so positive is that we can all
become Literally Everything.

Furthermore, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main devilishness with all of us
acting evil, at times, is that we all
began as Literally Nothing.

Additionally, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main goodness with all of us
acting godly, at times, is that we can all
become Literally Everything.

At long last, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main fear in all of life
is that we all literally
began as Literally Nothing.

And finally, if I could heal the world,
I would teach everyone that
the main love in all of life
is that we can all literally
become Literally Everything.

My Writing About My Blogs Being Sabotaged By Someone Who Is Very 'Tech Savvy,' Regarding The Blog Post "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing" (Which Is Also Titled, "If I Could Heal The World") And The Blog Post "We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light" [September 20th, 2021 Update]:

I think that my blogs are being sabotaged by someone who is very 'tech savvy,' and they may be someone that I know, because I have noticed strange things happening while I have been editing my writing, which includes the text of my "Small All White in the Forest" blog being in all-bold type (including the gadgets on the right side, such as "Popular Posts," "Blog Archives" and "Labels," etc.) with the exception of the first two posts!

And it took me a while to figure out what was causing that to happen, but I concluded that it was two particular posts being published: "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing" (which is also titled, "If I Could Heal The World") as well as "We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light."

So, I reverted those two posts to 'draft' format on the aforementioned blog. You see, I am afraid of having those two posts published on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog; however, those two posts are still published on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" and "Three Dark Horses" blogs. My Follow-Up Update No. 1 To My Writing About My Blogs Being Sabotaged By Someone Who Is Very 'Tech Savvy,' Regarding The Blog Post "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing" (Which Is Also Titled, "If I Could Heal The World") And The Blog Post "We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light" [July 27th, 2022 Update, Written On July 28th, 2022]:

This is My Follow-Up Update No. 1 to my 'September 20th, 2021 Update' that has the same information as "My Writing About My Blogs Being Sabotaged By Someone Who Is Very 'Tech Savvy,' Regarding The Blog Post 'The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing' (Which Is Also Titled, 'If I Could Heal The World') And The Blog Post 'We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light,'" in which I explained the following:

"I think that my blogs are being sabotaged by someone who is very 'tech savvy,' and they may be someone that I know, because I have noticed strange things happening while I have been editing my writing, which includes the text of my 'Small All White in the Forest' blog being in all-bold type (including the gadgets on the right side, such as 'Popular Posts,' 'Blog Archives' and 'Labels,' etc.) with the exception of the first two posts!

And it took me a while to figure out what was causing that to happen, but I concluded that it was two particular posts being published: 'The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing' (which is also titled, 'If I Could Heal The World') as well as 'We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light.'

So, I reverted those two posts to 'draft' format on the aforementioned blog. You see, I am afraid of having those two posts published on my 'Small All White in the Forest' blog; however, those two posts are still published on my 'Poet, Artist and Philosopher' and 'Three Dark Horses' blogs."

That being said, I watched a video on YouTube titled, "We can't give in to doomerism" yesterday, July 27th, 2022. And this was actually the second time I had watched this video, with the first time being on July 25th, 2022. So, after I watched this video the first time, I thought about posting some kind of optimistic prose, or poetry, from one of my blogs; but I decided against that later on.

Then, when the same video appeared, again, in my YouTube Recommended Videos a couple of days later, I thought, again, that I should select some optimistic prose, or poetry, from my blogs to post as a comment on that video! And I thought about utilizing my poem titled, "The Question Of Being Nothing And The Answer Of Becoming Everything," but then I thought that might be a bit too much.

So, then I decided that my poem titled, "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing," which is also titled, "If I Could Heal The World," would be more appropriate. Thus, I took the time to edit the poem—on all of my blogs where it is published—in preparation for posting that poem as a comment on the above-mentioned YouTube video.

However, after having edited said poem, I decided against posting it on said YouTube video, as a comment, because I am concerned about being criticized for my comments on YouTube, especially considering that this poem implies that I basically know as much as God knows about how, and why, the Universe exists! Thus, I decided to not post a comment just in case I 'triggered' some true believing religious zealot, who may end up reading my blogs and conclude that I am some kind of "sinner," who needs to die and go to Hell. (But, maybe, that's just me!)

By the way, the reason why I decided to not consider posting my poem "The Question Of Being Nothing And The Answer Of Becoming Everything" on the above-mentioned YouTube video, as a comment, is because that poem also makes it seem as if I know as much as God knows about how, and why, the entire Universe exists.

But while I was editing the poem "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing," which is also titled, "If I Could Heal The World," I also took the time to edit the post of that poem which I have reverted to 'draft' format on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog, due to the issues that I have had, in the past, with this poem being published on that blog. (Please see the above-mentioned quote from my 'September 20th, 2021 Update.')

Thus, while I was editing the "Small All White in the Forest" blog post edition of the "If I Could Heal The World" poem, I decided to see if I was still having the same issues as before with this poem being published on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog, as quoted above from my 'September 20th, 2021 Update.'

So, long story short: I republished the post of this "If I Could Heal The World" poem that I had reverted to 'draft' format on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog and it turned out that the text of that blog was no longer in all-bold type (including the gadgets on the right side, such as "Popular Posts," "Blog Archives" and "Labels," etc.) with the exception of the first two posts—and that is why I decided to write this update!

Now, to clarify, I have not attempted to republish my blog post titled, "We Are The Darkness Which Becomes The Light" on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog, since I am afraid that the all-bold type issues will re-manifest if I do! Therefore, I am thanking my lucky stars that I can republish my poem titled, "The Main Problem In All Of Life Is That We All Began As Literally Nothing," which is also titled, "If I Could Heal The World," on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog and I am leaving it at that. My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: "If I could heal the world, I would teach everyone that the main problem in all of life is that we all began as Literally Nothing."

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Plus, I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through my new "The Oneness Of God" spiritual practice!

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

Post No. 125: Your Soul's Eternal Life Is Guaranteed

(Image from Seed for the Soul)

Your Soul's Eternal Life Is Guaranteed

Because all souls are the
naturally-occurring vibration
at the very center of Literally
Nothing, your soul's eternal
life is guaranteed—and that
is what really matters! In fact,
you have no choice in the matter
of your soul's eternal life; however,
you do have a choice in the way that
you live your soul's eternal life and
that is all that matters! In other words,
the way that you choose to live your
soul's eternal life is what turns into
the matter of your soul's eternal life...

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: I am rereading the "Conversations with God" series of books [which I reread from just shortly after June 5th, 2016 to exactly September 12th, 2016]... And I was rereading "The New Revelations: A Conversation with God," when I read the quote below on page 75, which inspired me to write the poem above:

"The gender-neutral Bible, these critics say, could 'throw innocent believers and new converts off the track to eternal life...'"

And this poem was formerly published on my "Three Dark Horses" and "Small All White in the Forest" blogs, but I decided to only publish "The 'Conversations with God' books-Inspired Posts" on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog, because these posts are more about philosophy and so is this blog.

Thus, this poem was only published on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog.

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

"Conversations with God" from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia—which is funded primarily through donations from millions of individuals around the world, including this blogger (I make a totally affordable one-time donation if they are requesting donations when I am on their website):

"Conversations with God (CwG) is a sequence of books written by Neale Donald Walsch. It was written as a dialogue in which Walsch asks questions and God answers. The first book of the Conversations with God series, Conversations with God, Book 1: An Uncommon Dialogue, was published in 1995 and became a publishing phenomenon, staying on the New York Times Best-Sellers List for 137 weeks. The succeeding volumes in the nine book series also appeared prominently on the List.

In an interview with Larry King, Walsch described the inception of the books as follows: at a low period in his life, Walsch wrote an angry letter to God asking questions about why his life wasn't working. After writing down all of his questions, he heard a voice over his right shoulder say: 'Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?' Though when he turned around he saw no one there, Walsch felt answers to his questions filling his mind and decided to write them down. The ensuing dialogue became the Conversations with God books. When asked in a recent interview how does he 'open up' to God these days, Neale stated 'I am reaching out to touch others with this information. When I reach out and touch others with this information I reconnect immediately with the divine presence.'"

CwG's basic messages:

"In Friendship with God, Walsch writes that God presents four concepts which are central to the entire dialogue:

1. We are all one.
2. There's enough.
3. There's nothing we have to do.
4. Ours is not a better way, ours is merely another way.

Existence is essentially non dual in nature. At the highest level there is no separation between anything and there is only one of us; there is only God, and everything is God. The second statement, following from the first, means that we, in this seeming existence, lack nothing and if we choose to realize it, we have enough of whatever we think we need (or the means to create it) within us. The third statement combines the first two to conclude that God, being all there is and is thus always sufficient unto Itself, has no need of anything and therefore has no requirements of humanity. The final concept puts an end to our need to always be right. Given that we have and are everything, and there's nothing we have to do, there are an infinite number of ways to experience this, not just the one way we may have chosen so far..."

Post No. 115: A Body's Life Is Temporary

A Body's Life Is Temporary

I know that my human body,
just like every other body, is
not going to live forever, but
my soul, just like every other
soul, is going to live forever!

My Writing About A Body's Life And A Soul's Life: A body's life is temporary! A soul's life is eternal! –Paul Whiting (written August 5th, 2015 and revised October 10th, 2022)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Getting Ready To Die [October 10th, 2015 Update]: I am only planning on doing a limited amount of new writing, since I think that I am getting ready to die, because I am tired most of the time! Thus, I think that after being HIV-positive for so long that I am not going to be here much longer... (I was diagnosed in November of 2000.) So, I am planning to only work on my personal care (that is, my day-to-day living) and my civic duty (that is, participating in upcoming elections by voting, including 'special elections'). Plus, I am taking the time to reread, edit and revise my blogs ('writing is revising'), so that I can correct all the mistakes that I have made in my existing writing!

–Paul Whiting (written October 10th, 2015, revised November 3rd, 2015, revised November 5th, 2015, revised November 10th, 2015, revised November 21st, 2015, revised November 24th, 2015, revised December 10th, 2015, revised December 29th, 2015, revised August 3rd, 2021, revised August 27th, 2022, revised February 15th, 2023 and revised April 1st, 2024)

[I feel like I need to clarify why there are so many 'revised dates' on this 'my writing,' just like there are often times so many 'revised dates' on other 'my writings' similar to this one! You see, I really try to keep my writing consistent as possible across all of my blogs. Therefore, as I am writing, I try to use the same phraseology wherever possible with regard to similar types of my writing so that, when I am editing my writing, I can change all of the similar writing at the same time and in the same way! Thus, a lot of the revisions indicated above, after my name (–Paul Whiting), and shown right after the original 'written date,' are often times due to these aforementioned consistent-writing revisions.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Still Being Alive [August 3rd, 2021 Update]: I am still alive! And I am feeling a lot better than I was feeling—a couple of months short of exactly six years ago—when I wrote my 'October 10th, 2015 Update' (that also appears as 'My Writing About Getting Ready To Die' on some of my blogs), which can be found above. Plus, I have a smartphone again, after years of only having a basic phone. So, I am editing all of my blogs, but I am still preparing for death—especially now with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I received my very first COVID-19 vaccine on June 25th, 2021, and I am now fully vaccinated for COVID-19, so there is still hope.

My Writing About My Blogs Being Sabotaged By Someone Who Is Very 'Tech Savvy,' Regarding The Blog Post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" [October 15th, 2021 Update]:

I think that my blogs are being sabotaged by someone who is very 'tech savvy,' and they may be someone that I know, because I have noticed strange things happening while I have been editing my writing, which includes the blog post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" not appearing on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog!

And I cannot even see it on the Blogger Dashboard, but I can go to that post directly—since the post title is listed in the labels—however, it appears as if I never published that particular blog post on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog.

So, I provided a hyperlink to the blog post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" from the aforementioned blog on my "Small All White in the Forest," "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs. (Please see the hyperlinks below for the posts.) You see, I am afraid of having that post appear as if it is not, in fact, published on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog—and that is why I provided a hyperlink. (Please see the hyperlink below for the post.)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: What inspired this poem is my impending death, because I know that my human body, just like every other body, is not going to live forever (the reader should know that I am HIV-positive and that I have full-blown AIDS), but my soul, just like every other soul, is going to live forever!

October 10th, 2015 Update [My Writing About Getting Ready To Die]: I am only planning on doing a limited amount of new writing, since I think that I am getting ready to die, because I am tired most of the time! Plus, I am taking the time to reread, edit and revise my blogs ('writing is revising'), so that I can correct all the mistakes that I have made in my existing writing!

to bear—in each and every lifetime—
and some have more than one!

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: Every lifetime has a cross to bear! In other words, every soul has a cross to bear—in each and every lifetime—and some have more than one!

What inspired this poem are the difficulties that I have dealt with in life, including having a truly dysfunctional childhood, since I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ("The Mormon Church") and the various health challenges that I have dealt with, including issues with spiritual health, mental health and physical health (the reader should know that I am HIV-positive and that I have full-blown AIDS) all of which were based upon My Karma!

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Post No. 094/093: The "IOUs Of Void Energy" Meaning Of Life!

(Image from The Asahi Shimbun)

The "IOUs Of Void Energy"
Meaning Of Life!

"All Of Us Souls" are basically "IOUs Of Void Energy" (that is, "Individual Operating Units Of Void Energy"), which is why "We Are The Deities."

And "We, The Deities," (or, "All Of Us Souls That Exist In A Void") are meant to purposefully make calculated mistakes and, then, we are meant to correct those same mistakes...

...That way, "We, The Deities," or "All Of Us Souls," can test how a particular aspect of physics works by purposefully making calculated mistakes with regard to that particular aspect of physics and, then, we can correct those same mistakes...

...And that is how Karma works!

Plus, that is also how "We, The Deities," or "All Of Us Souls," can learn how to Self-Identify, so that we can experience how to transform "Our Deified Potential Energy As Literally Nothing"—which is Void Energy—from "The Possibility Of Only Nothing" into, quite literally, "Everything That Exists!"

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My Writing About "God's Computer": I truly do believe that when "God Created The Heavens And The Earth" that what God actually created was a "Super Computer" in the form of God embodying—quite literally—as the entire Universe! And that is why I also believe that God is literally all around us—and that God is literally contained within all of us too—in the form of the entire Universe, which is what constitutes "God's Computer." Plus, I truly do believe that God is also Our Subconscious Self in the form of an Absolutely Perfect Mirror, who is continuously reflecting All Of Our Karma throughout All Of Our Lifetimes! And because God is Our Subconscious Self, that is how, and why, prayer works—since prayer is simply a form of direct communication with God! Thus, I truly do believe that we are all "Independent Operating Units" (or, "IOUs") contained within God's Computer—and that is why God is literally all around us! And that is also why God is literally contained within all of us! And that is also why "We Are All One With God!" –Paul Whiting (written May 26th, 2012, revised November 24th, 2015 and revised July 24th, 2022)

My Writing About "The Meaning Of Life For All Of Us Deities" (Or, "The Meaning Of Life For All Of Us 'IOUs Of Void Energy!'"), Version No. 1: "We, The Deities" are meant to purposefully make calculated mistakes and, then, we are meant to correct those same mistakes: in other words, that is how Karma works! That way, "We, The Deities" can test how a particular aspect of Quantum Mechanics works by purposefully making calculated mistakes with regard to that particular aspect—and, then, we can correct those same mistakes! And, therefore, that is also how "We, The Deities," or "All The Souls That Exist In A Void"—who are basically "IOUs Of Void Energy" (that is, "Individual Operating Units Of Void Energy")—can learn how to Self-Identify and experience how to transform Our Deified Potential In A Void from "The Mere Possibility of Something Happening" into, quite literally, "Everything That Exists!" –Paul Whiting (written December 1st, 2012, revised March 20th, 2015, revised April 14th, 2015, revised September 21st, 2015, revised August 24th, 2022, revised October 1st, 2022 and revised May 24th, 2023)

My Writing About "The Meaning Of Life For All Of Us Deities" (Or, "The Meaning Of Life For All Of Us 'IOUs Of Void Energy!'"), Version No. 2: "All Of Us Souls" are basically "IOUs Of Void Energy" (that is, "Individual Operating Units Of Void Energy"), which is why "We Are The Deities." And "We, The Deities," (or, "All Of Us Souls That Exist In A Void") are meant to purposefully make calculated mistakes and, then, we are meant to correct those same mistakes... ...That way, "We, The Deities," or "All Of Us Souls," can test how a particular aspect of physics works by purposefully making calculated mistakes with regard to that particular aspect of physics and, then, we can correct those same mistakes... ...And that is how Karma works! Plus, that is also how "We, The Deities," or "All Of Us Souls," can learn how to Self-Identify, so that we can experience how to transform "Our Deified Potential Energy As Literally Nothing"—which is Void Energy—from "The Possibility Of Only Nothing" into, quite literally, "Everything That Exists!" –Paul Whiting (written December 1st, 2012, revised March 20th, 2015, April 14th, 2015, revised September 21st, 2015, revised May 2nd 2022, revised August 24th, 2022 and revised May 24th, 2023)

My Writing About How Matter, Or Energy, Can Neither Be Created, Nor Destroyed, It Can Only Change Form: Everything in physics is energy conversion! In other words, physics is the inversion of Literally Nothing into opposing fields of energy. That means, Nothing can invert itself into Negative Energy (or, electronics), Positive Energy (or, protons), and Neutral Energy (or, neutrons), all of which is contained within Nothing that has been converted into Suction (or, vacuum). And the reason that Nothing can do all of these wonderful things is because Nothing has Self-Awareness (or, consciousness), which is Literally Light! Thus, that light is what God is—which is what we all are—and that is why it is said that matter, or energy, can neither be created, nor destroyed, it can only change form. –Paul Whiting (written January 26th, 2023 and revised January 27th, 2023)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: I came across the quote above while I was editing "My Posting Sabbatical, Part 2" post, which was published on my "Small All White in the Forest" and "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blogs. And I thought that it would make a great post for my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog, since I decided to publish some of "My Posting Sabbatical Writing" as blog posts!

Just so you know, I totally rewrote this prose, as I often do with my writing! And I changed how this prose was written when I republished it on my new "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog. So, I wanted to show you how this prose used to be written, before I rewrote it as above.

And it used to be written like this:

"We, The Deities," (or, "All the Souls that Exist in a Void") are meant to purposefully make calculated mistakes and, then, we are meant to correct those same mistakes!

In other words, that is part of how Karma works! That way, "We, The Deities" can test how a particular aspect of Quantum Mechanics works by purposefully making calculated mistakes with regard to that particular aspect of Quantum Mechanics and, then, we can correct those same mistakes!

And, therefore, that is also how "We, The Deities," or All of Us Souls, who are basically "IOUs of Void Energy" (that is, "Individual Operating Units of Void Energy") learn how to Self Identify and experience how to transform Our 'Deified Potential' in a Void from "The Mere Possibility of Something Happening" into, quite literally, "Everything That Exists!"

And, thus, I rewrote it to be written as it is above.

And this prose was also published on my "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message that I am trying to convey through "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer."

This prose was written in Portland, Oregon.

This "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" Post No. 094/093 was edited on May 5th, 2024.

By the way, the reason that this post has such an odd numbering system is because I published this post, 'The 'IOUs of Void Energy' Meaning Of Life," and the post before it, "The 'Caterpillar, Cocoon and Butterfly' Meaning Of Life" on the same day and at the same time! And, for some reason, the order in which these two posts appear on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog keeps alternating back and forth—I am assuming since they were both published within the same minute on the same day—so that is why I gave both of these posts an alternated numbering system.

Post No. 093/094: The "Caterpillar, Cocoon and Butterfly" Meaning of Life!

(Image from Gadget Science)

The "Caterpillar, Cocoon and
Butterfly" Meaning of Life!

I truly believe that—metaphorically speaking—we are all meant to start out as "The Caterpillar" by only consuming knowledge!

And then, we are all meant to 'go within,' so to speak, by creating "The Cocoon" in order to transform ourselves through our consumed knowledge!

And then, we are all meant to emerge as "The Butterfly" in order to share our transformed knowledge!

And, finally, each "Emerged Butterfly" is meant to encourage each "Consuming Caterpillar" to 'go within,' as well, in order to transform themselves and to become "The Butterfly" also!

Post No. 071: For St. Patrick's Day 2015 — "You Can't Stop Living Life Just Because You Might Be Dead"

(Image from Happy Holidays 2015)

You Can't Stop Living Life Just
Because You Might Be Dead

You can't stop living life [today]
just because you might
be dead [tomorrow].

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Still Living Life Even Though You Might Be Dead: You can't stop living life just because you might be dead. And I intend the aforementioned statement in the most positive, and respectful, way possible—and without any disrespect for anyone who may been dealing with some kind of life-threatening health condition, or terminal illness, like I am. (The reader should know that I am HIV-positive with full-blown AIDS. And I have almost died on multiple occasions, due to multiple infections, but that was mostly before I started taking HIV medications, which greatly improved my health.) So, I wrote the above-mentioned statement when I realized that I wasn't really living life because I was so afraid dying. Thus, that was the place where I was coming from in giving this kind of flippant life advice. –Paul Whiting (written March 16th, 2015, revised August 25th, 2022 and revised April 17th, 2023)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing For St. Patrick's Day 2024 [March 17th, 2024 Update No. 1] (Originally From My Blog Post Titled, "I Am No Longer Being An Activist In The Same Way That I Was," Which Is On My "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" Blog): Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

By the way, the proper shortened name for St. Patrick's Day is "St. Paddy's Day," NOT "St. Patty's Day," as explained below from Merriam-Webster.com:

St. Patrick’s Day can be referred to in informal contexts as “St. Paddy’s Day.” Paddy is the shortened form of the original Irish spelling of Patrick, which is Pádraig, and for this reason is usually preferred over “St. Patty’s Day,” which could also be mistaken for the shortened form of the name Patricia.

And the following is 'My Writing' for St. Patrick's Day 2024 (or, "St. Paddy's Day" 2024, as noted above).

My Writing About 'A Bit Of Irish,' Version No. 1: There's a little bit of Irish in all of us! –Paul Whiting (written March 13th, 2024 and revised March 17th, 2024)

My Writing About 'A Bit Of Irish,' Version No. 2: There's a bit o' Irish in all of us! –Paul Whiting (written March 13th, 2024 and revised March 17th, 2024)

My Writing About Luck Not Being An Accident: Luck is no accident! For, luck is based upon hard work and honesty, assuming calculated risk, facing your fears, planning ahead and following through, making mistakes, then learning from those mistakes, and doing better in the future. Thus, the reason that you can be lucky in the future is because you were hard working and honest in the past! –Paul Whiting (written March 13th, 2024 and revised March 17th, 2024)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: I wrote this poem when I was worrying about dying (as I often do, since I am HIV-positive with full-blown AIDS) and I realized that I couldn't stop living life today just because I might be dead tomorrow!

And this poem was also published on my "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer."

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

The Most Important
Relationship in Life!

The First—And Most Important—
Relationship That You Have In Life Is The
Relationship That You Have With Yourself!

(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My Writing About The Most Important Relationship In Life: The most important relationship in life is the relationship that you have with yourself! For, relationships with others may come and go, but your relationship with yourself is eternal. –Paul Whiting (written September 26th, 2012 and revised July 31st, 2022)

My Writing About The Relationship That You Have With Yourself: The first—and most important—relationship that you have in life is the relationship that you have with yourself! –Paul Whiting (written June 27th, 2014 and revised August 1st, 2022)

My Writing About The Only Truly Lasting Relationship That You Have In Life: The only truly lasting relationship that you have in life is the relationship that you have with yourself! –Paul Whiting (July 31st, 2022)

My Writing About The Importance Of What Is Across From You: It is not what is across from you that is important in life: it is you! For, whatever is across from you—paradoxically—is you in physics. –Paul Whiting (written September 25th, 2014, revised July 31st, 2022 and revised August 1st, 2022)

My Writing About The Importance Of The Relationship That Is Across From You: The most important relationship in life is not the relationship that is across from you; it's the relationship with you, because that is what's across from you. –Paul Whiting (written April 4th, 2015 and revised July 31st, 2022)

My Writing About How Universes Are Life Therapy: Universes are life therapy to continually heal from being born as Literally Nothing. –Paul Whiting (written November 27th, 2014 and revised September 10th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About How Universes Are Like Therapeutic Motion Pictures: Universes truly are like therapeutic motion pictures (or, movies) in that Universes are representations of how we think, and feel, about being The Consciousness Of Literally Nothing, which is what we are as Gods and/or Goddesses. –Paul Whiting (written March 27th, 2015, revised September 18th, 2021, revised May 5th, 2022, revised May 6th, 2022 and revised September 10th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Psychological Healing Through Professional Therapy (One Paragraph): As a self-designated 'Poet, Artist and Philosopher,' I feel an obligation to explain what I believe to be true about psychological healing through professional therapy. You see, in my lifetime I have dealt with many psychological (mental health) issues, including generalized anxiety disorder, and/or clinical depression, for which I have sought treatment through professional therapy on multiple occasions. Therefore, during those times in my life when I felt like I needed therapy, I would kind of "put my life on hold," so to speak, until I had dealt with whatever issue that was making me feel "stuck" in my life. That way, I could totally heal that particular issue—for however long that it took to heal that particular issue—and, then, I could finally get on with my life... Thankfully, I was raised in a family in which going to see a therapist was perfectly acceptable—if necessary—just like going see a medical doctor was perfectly acceptable, if necessary. Thus, our culture's beliefs regarding medical treatment of physiological (physical) issues goes something like the following: If you have the kind of injury that you can treat with a Band-Aid and some Neosporin, or if you have the kind of illness that you can treat with NyQuil and/or DayQuil, by all means do so! If, however, you have a much more severe injury—and/or if you have a much more severe illness—you go see a medical doctor, or you go to an urgent care clinic, or you go to the emergency room, so that you can heal! And our culture's beliefs regarding therapeutic (therapy) treatment of psychological (mental health) issues should basically be the same kind of thinking: So, if you are just feeling "a little down in the dumps," so to speak, you can simply talk to a family member, or a friend, or chat online with someone on a social networking site, and that takes care of the issue! If, however, you have much more severe psychological issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or much more severe psychological illnesses, such as clinical depression, or suicidal thoughts, you go see a licensed therapist—like a Licensed Professional Counselor, or a Psychologist (which is a licensed therapist with a graduate degree in psychology), or a Psychiatrist (which is a licensed therapist with a graduate degree in psychology who is also a medical doctor)—or you call a crisis helpline, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (dial 988 on your telephone), so that you can heal! –Paul Whiting (written September 10th, 2022, revised October 22nd, 2023 and revised June 15th, 2024)

Post No. 051: How To 'Forget About It' Correctly

(Image from thestockmasters.com)

How To 'Forget About It' Correctly
(Or, "How To Solve The Problems In Life")

Since life is bound to have problems in it, when you are faced with solving any particular problem in life, it is only when you have thoroughly and legitimately solved that particular problem in life that you should "forget about it," so to speak.

Therefore, you should never "forget about it" as a way to solve any of the problems in life, since not solving the problems in life—and then forgetting about having not solved the problems in life—will only create more and bigger problems in life!

Therefore, you should never "forget about it" as a way to solve any of the problems in life, since not solving the problems in life—and then forgetting about having not solved the problems in life—will only create more and bigger problems in life! –Paul Whiting (written approximately on October 14th, 2014 and turned into 'my writing' on September 6th, 2022)

My Writing About The Difficulties In Life: Life isn't easy, it's difficult. So, you can only make life easy by dealing with the difficulties in life. In other words, dealing with the difficulties in life is what makes life easy. –Paul Whiting (September 6th, 2022)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: "Since life is bound to have problems in it, when you are faced with solving any particular problem in life, it is only when you have thoroughly and legitimately solved that particular problem in life that you should 'forget about it,' so to speak."

Post No. 033: Every Step in Life is Guided by Your Mistakes!

(Image from Learning Minds Group)

Every Step That You Take in
Life is Guided by Your Mistakes!

On August 6th, 2013 (08/06/2013), I wasn't feeling well and—long story short—I mistakenly ignored the signs that I was going to faint and—"Poof!"—I fainted.

You see, I was taught by my parents to always get down on the floor, if you feel like you are going to faint, in order to prevent falling, and injuring yourself, if you lose consciousness...

...And so, I ended up going to the hospital to get stitches! Thus, I learned a valuable lesson, by way of making a mistake, about ignoring 'obvious warning signs!'

And "I am a sadder man, but wiser now," so I will know better next time...

...However, my life has been "guided," so to speak, toward a better respect for 'warning signs,' in this specific case, through making that specific mistake!

And that is why I truly feel that every step in life is guided by your mistakes...

...By the way, I wrote the quote "Every step you that take in life is guided by your mistakes" over two months ago! (Please see "My Writing About Your Steps In Life And Your Mistakes" below.) And I came across that quote when I was prepping a future post on this blog and I decided to create this post in honor of having experienced "The Fall of 08/06/2013," so to speak...

...For, I truly feel that the best kind of life philosophy is the self-applicable kind of philosophy!

My Writing About God Making Us Correct Our Own Mistakes: Mistakes are God's Gift For Our Survival!
