Every Step That You Take in
Life is Guided by Your Mistakes!
On August 6th, 2013 (08/06/2013), I wasn't feeling well and—long story short—I mistakenly ignored the signs that I was going to faint and—"Poof!"—I fainted.
You see, I was taught by my parents to always get down on the floor, if you feel like you are going to faint, in order to prevent falling, and injuring yourself, if you lose consciousness...
...And so, I ended up going to the hospital to get stitches! Thus, I learned a valuable lesson, by way of making a mistake, about ignoring 'obvious warning signs!'
And "I am a sadder man, but wiser now," so I will know better next time...
...However, my life has been "guided," so to speak, toward a better respect for 'warning signs,' in this specific case, through making that specific mistake!
And that is why I truly feel that every step in life is guided by your mistakes...
...By the way, I wrote the quote "Every step you that take in life is guided by your mistakes" over two months ago! (Please see "My Writing About Your Steps In Life And Your Mistakes" below.) And I came across that quote when I was prepping a future post on this blog and I decided to create this post in honor of having experienced "The Fall of 08/06/2013," so to speak...
...For, I truly feel that the best kind of life philosophy is the self-applicable kind of philosophy!

My Writing About The Problem With Succeeding In Life: The problem with succeeding in life is not based upon not making mistakes; the problem with succeeding in life is not correcting the mistakes that you make. –Paul Whiting (written January 4th, 2012 and revised July 23rd, 2022)

My Writing About God Making Us Correct Our Own Mistakes: Mistakes are God's Gift For Our Survival! For, God made every single one of us imperfect beings, so that we would all know how to correct our own mistakes: because knowing how to correct our mistakes is what gives us the ability to change—and the ability to change is what gives us the power to adapt to our environment! Therefore, God's Gift For Our Survival is our ability to correct our own mistakes and, subsequently, to be more adaptable to our environment. –Paul Whiting (written May 17th, 2012, revised September 19th, 2021 and revised July 23rd, 2022)
