The "Caterpillar, Cocoon and
Butterfly" Meaning of Life!

I truly believe that—metaphorically speaking—we are all meant to start out as "The Caterpillar" by only consuming knowledge!

And then, we are all meant to 'go within,' so to speak, by creating "The Cocoon" in order to transform ourselves through our consumed knowledge!

And then, we are all meant to emerge as "The Butterfly" in order to share our transformed knowledge!

And, finally, each "Emerged Butterfly" is meant to encourage each "Consuming Caterpillar" to 'go within,' as well, in order to transform themselves and to become "The Butterfly" also!

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: I came across the quote above while I was editing "My Posting Sabbatical, Part 2" post, which was published on my "Small All White in the Forest" and "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blogs. And I thought that it would make a great post for my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog, since I decided to publish some of "My Posting Sabbatical Writing" as blog posts!

Also, I spelled the word cocoon wrong when I published this post originally—since I thought that the spelling was "cacoon"—but, eventually, I corrected it.

And this prose was also published on my "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message that I am trying to convey through "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer."

This prose was written in Portland, Oregon.

This "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" Post No. 093/094 was edited on May 5th, 2024.

By the way, the reason that this post has such an odd numbering system is because I published this post, "The 'Caterpillar, Cocoon and Butterfly,' Meaning Of Life" and the post after it, "The 'IOUs of Void Energy' Meaning Of Life," on the same day and at the same time! And, for some reason, the order in which these two posts appear on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog keeps alternating back and forth—I am assuming since they were both published within the same minute on the same day—so that is why I gave both of these posts an alternated numbering system.
