Post No. 115: A Body's Life Is Temporary

A Body's Life Is Temporary

I know that my human body,
just like every other body, is
not going to live forever, but
my soul, just like every other
soul, is going to live forever!

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About A Body's Life And A Soul's Life: A body's life is temporary! A soul's life is eternal! –Paul Whiting (written August 5th, 2015 and revised October 10th, 2022)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Getting Ready To Die [October 10th, 2015 Update]: I am only planning on doing a limited amount of new writing, since I think that I am getting ready to die, because I am tired most of the time! Thus, I think that after being HIV-positive for so long that I am not going to be here much longer... (I was diagnosed in November of 2000.) So, I am planning to only work on my personal care (that is, my day-to-day living) and my civic duty (that is, participating in upcoming elections by voting, including 'special elections'). Plus, I am taking the time to reread, edit and revise my blogs ('writing is revising'), so that I can correct all the mistakes that I have made in my existing writing!

–Paul Whiting (written October 10th, 2015, revised November 3rd, 2015, revised November 5th, 2015, revised November 10th, 2015, revised November 21st, 2015, revised November 24th, 2015, revised December 10th, 2015, revised December 29th, 2015, revised August 3rd, 2021, revised August 27th, 2022, revised February 15th, 2023 and revised April 1st, 2024)

[I feel like I need to clarify why there are so many 'revised dates' on this 'my writing,' just like there are often times so many 'revised dates' on other 'my writings' similar to this one! You see, I really try to keep my writing consistent as possible across all of my blogs. Therefore, as I am writing, I try to use the same phraseology wherever possible with regard to similar types of my writing so that, when I am editing my writing, I can change all of the similar writing at the same time and in the same way! Thus, a lot of the revisions indicated above, after my name (–Paul Whiting), and shown right after the original 'written date,' are often times due to these aforementioned consistent-writing revisions.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Still Being Alive [August 3rd, 2021 Update]: I am still alive! And I am feeling a lot better than I was feeling—a couple of months short of exactly six years ago—when I wrote my 'October 10th, 2015 Update' (that also appears as 'My Writing About Getting Ready To Die' on some of my blogs), which can be found above. Plus, I have a smartphone again, after years of only having a basic phone. So, I am editing all of my blogs, but I am still preparing for death—especially now with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I received my very first COVID-19 vaccine on June 25th, 2021, and I am now fully vaccinated for COVID-19, so there is still hope.

–Paul Whiting (written August 3rd, 2021, revised September 28th, 2021, revised June 15th, 2022, revised August 27th, 2022, revised August 28th, 2022, revised February 15th, 2023, revised June 8th, 2023 and revised April 1st, 2024)

My Writing About My Blogs Being Sabotaged By Someone Who Is Very 'Tech Savvy,' Regarding The Blog Post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" [October 15th, 2021 Update]:

I think that my blogs are being sabotaged by someone who is very 'tech savvy,' and they may be someone that I know, because I have noticed strange things happening while I have been editing my writing, which includes the blog post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" not appearing on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog!

And I cannot even see it on the Blogger Dashboard, but I can go to that post directly—since the post title is listed in the labels—however, it appears as if I never published that particular blog post on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog.

So, I provided a hyperlink to the blog post "A Body's Life Is Temporary" from the aforementioned blog on my "Small All White in the Forest," "Three Dark Horses" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs. (Please see the hyperlinks below for the posts.) You see, I am afraid of having that post appear as if it is not, in fact, published on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog—and that is why I provided a hyperlink. (Please see the hyperlink below for the post.)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: What inspired this poem is my impending death, because I know that my human body, just like every other body, is not going to live forever (the reader should know that I am HIV-positive and that I have full-blown AIDS), but my soul, just like every other soul, is going to live forever!

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Plus, I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through my new "The Oneness Of God" spiritual practice!

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

Post No. 114: We Are Our Own Superheroes...

(Image from YouTube)

We Are Our Own Superheroes
To Our Own Supervillains!

We Are Our Own
Superheroes To Our
Own Supervillains!
In Other Words, We
Are Our Own Positive
Energy To Our Own
Negative Energy!
Stated Another
Way, We Are
Superheroes
(Positive Energy)
And We Are
Also Supervillains
(Negative Energy)!

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My Writing About How We Are Both Superheroes And Supervillains: We are our own superheroes to our own supervillains! In other words, we are our own positive energy to our own negative energy! Stated another way, we are superheroes (positive energy) and we are also supervillains (negative energy)! –Paul Whiting (written July 16th, 2015, revised September 25th, 2021 and revised October 9th, 2022)

My Writing About How Matter, Or Energy, Can Neither Be Created, Nor Destroyed, It Can Only Change Form: Everything in physics is energy conversion! In other words, physics is the inversion of Literally Nothing into opposing fields of energy. That means, Nothing can invert itself into Negative Energy (or, electronics), Positive Energy (or, protons), and Neutral Energy (or, neutrons), all of which is contained within Nothing that has been converted into Suction (or, vacuum). And the reason that Nothing can do all of these wonderful things is because Nothing has Self-Awareness (or, consciousness), which is Literally Light! Thus, that light is what God is—which is what we all are—and that is why it is said that matter, or energy, can neither be created, nor destroyed, it can only change form. –Paul Whiting (written January 26th, 2023 and revised January 27th, 2023)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: We Are Superheroes (Positive Energy) And We Are Also Supervillains (Negative Energy)!

Post No. 113: We Are Nothing Thinking...

(Image from RELATE Institute)

We Are Nothing Thinking...

We
Are
Nothing
Thinking
And That Is
Really Something!

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My Writing About How 'Nothing' Created The Universe: "Nothing" is what created the universe! For, God is "Nothing" and that is what created the entire Universe! In other words, God is what created the entire Universe out of Oneself As Nothing. Therefore, even though God Is Nothing, God thinks, God feels, and God is self-aware at the same time that God Is Literally Nothing. Thus, "Self-Aware Nothing" created the entire Universe, because that is what God is! –Paul Whiting (written August 6th, 2011 and revised October 8th, 2022)

My Writing About The Hope Of Nothing: There is hope—even in being born as Literally Nothing! And the paradox of physics is that you are the hope of Nothing... –Paul Whiting (written May 1st, 2014 and revised September 6th, 2022)

My Writing About Helping The One, Or The First Soul, To Heal From Being Born As Literally Nothing: Devote your life to helping "The One," who is The First Soul, to heal from being born as Literally Nothing, because that life plan will also heal you! –Paul Whiting (written July 19th, 2014 and revised August 25th, 2022)

My Writing About How We Are Nothing Thinking: We are nothing thinking and that is really something! –Paul Whiting (written July 3rd, 2015 and revised October 8th, 2022)

My Philosophical Notes:

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: Every lifetime has a cross to bear! In other words, every soul has a cross to bear—in each and every lifetime—and some have more than one!

What inspired this poem are the difficulties that I have dealt with in life, including having a truly dysfunctional childhood, since I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ("The Mormon Church") and the various health challenges that I have dealt with, including issues with spiritual health, mental health and physical health (the reader should know that I am HIV-positive and that I have full-blown AIDS) all of which were based upon My Karma!

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Post No. 110: My One and Only Pick-Up Line

(Image from quick meme)

My One and Only Pick-Up Line About The Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) That I Have Due To Being Slutty In My Gay Youth: "The Catch of the Day!"

I have HIV*, Herpes** and HPV*** and, so, I
guess that makes me "The Catch of the Day,"
depending upon what you might catch! LOL

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My One And Only Pick-Up Line About The Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) That I Have Due To Being Slutty In My Gay Youth: I have HIV, Herpes and also HPV, so I guess that means that I am the 'Catch of the Day' depending upon what you might catch! LOL –Paul Whiting (written April 22nd, 2012 and revised October 6th, 2022)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this 'joke' can be summed up with the following statement: To say that I was "just a little bit slutty" in my gay youth—which was from about my early twenties to my early thirties—would be an understatement to the same degree of saying that the world-famous American pianist, singer, and actor Liberace was "just a little bit flamboyant!"

So, contained within the 'sexual promiscuity' of my gay youth—with literally hundreds, if not thousands, of gay men—over multiple years, and through multiple sexual encounters, I contracted multiple sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that are too numerous to mention, but which include Herpes, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Human Papillomavirus (HPV)—for which I am currently receiving medical treatment!

And thus, I stopped being 'sexually promiscuous' once I contracted HIV (and later on, I found out that I also had Herpes and HPV), so that I would not spread the STDs.

Therefore, the 'joke,' so to speak, is that my one and only pick up line is: "I am 'the catch of the day' depending upon what you might catch!"

And this 'joke' was only published on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog.

This 'joke' was written in Portland, Oregon.

Post No. 109: My Haiku-Style Poem About The Joyous Solitude

(Image from Idealist Careers)

Totally Alone
(Or, "The Joyous Solitude")

Totally alone!
I can finally be "me."
Totally alone!

-Paul Whiting
(a.k.a., Poet, Artist and Philosopher)
"I am the poet who thinks that he knows it!"

My Writing About Not Being Alone: You are not alone—you are lonely for your own good company! You have never been without good company: you are always there... –Paul Whiting (written March 23rd, 2015, revised November 20th, 2015, revised October 18th, 2021, revised May 18th, 2022, revised May 19th, 2022, revised September 18th, 2022 and revised September 20th, 2022)

My Writing About Feeling Lonely: If you are feeling lonely—like I feel lonely sometimes—you are lonely for your own good companionship. –Paul Whiting (written June 7th, 2016, revised May 18th, 2022, revised May 19th, 2022, revised September 18th, 2022 and revised September 20th, 2022)

My Writing About Feeling Alone In A Crowd: "Alone in a crowd" describes how it feels for you to be surrounded by others, but still feel lonely, since you are not alone in a crowd... For, not feeling like you have a good relationship with yourself makes the crowd feel like it's solitude, rather than the crowd feeling like it's companionship. –Paul Whiting (written May 19th, 2022 and revised September 20th, 2022)

My Philosophical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: I wrote this poem to explain how being by yourself, or being Totally Alone, feels as if it is "Totally Heaven" when, in fact, in the beginning of the whole process of life—which is your existence as a God and/or a Goddess who is Literally Nothing—it feels as if being by yourself, or being Totally Alone, is "Totally Hell."

You see, when you begin as Literally Nothing, which is how we all are as Gods and/or Goddesses, it is really difficult being the only soul, or the only consciousness, in your reality—since you are Literally Nothing in its natural, potential state—which is how we are all born as Gods and/or Goddesses.

Therefore, as a God and/or a Goddess, who is the consciousness, or the Self-Awareness, of Literally Nothing, you design "Fantasy Realities" out of your consciousness, or you soul, which are Universes, in order to experience yourself as not being "Totally Alone!"

So, being Totally Alone as a God and/or a Goddess is how we are naturally born, since we are Literally Nothing that has consciousness, which is the main reason that it is extremely difficult to be a God and/or a Goddess, because We Are Literally Nothing That Is Self-Aware, so we are born lonely!

Thus, you design these Fantasy Reality Universes, out of your consciousness as a God and/or a Goddess (whose souls is Literally Light), in which it appears as if you are totally surrounded by more souls than you can possibly count! And the appearance of that many souls in your actual reality is simply a really cleverly designed fantasy reality.

In fact, it appears as if there are so many other souls (more souls than you can possibly count) that being surrounded, so to speak, by that many souls can be distressing, at times, because you can grow quite weary from having to deal with that many souls! And, again, the appearance of that many souls in your actual reality is simply a really cleverly designed fantasy reality.

And, in the end of this whole process of life—which is your existence as a God and/or a Goddess who is Literally Nothing—you are so totally overwhelmed by being in the constant company of so many other souls (so that you cannot even count them all) that you, finally, "just want to get away from it all" in order to "escape the crowds" so that—at long last—you can just be "you!"

That is why Universes Are Literally Fantasy Realities, created out of Literally Nothing, which are carefully engineered to make it feel as if being Totally Alone is not, in fact, "Totally Hell," but it is, in fact, "Totally Heaven!"

"Poetry is using the fewest words possible in order to describe all that is possible to describe." –Paul Whiting [June 1st, 2022]

My poems that are Haiku in their style—within which one stanza is composed of three lines, where each line has words containing five syllables, seven syllables and five syllables, respectively—are a lot more like SenryÅ« poems in that the topic of these poems is typically about people, rather than the topic of these poems being about nature, as is usually the case in classic Haiku poems. And that is why I call these types of poems "Haiku-style." –Paul Whiting [September 19th, 2023]

Post No. 108: My Theory on Homo sapiens' Sexual Structure

(Image from Queerty)

The following is My Theory on Homo sapiens' Sexual Structure, since I think that our species is a homosexual species because, if we were not 'Self-Loving' enough, we would never put enough effort into surviving! So, that is why I think that Homo sapiens are all homosexuals:

"Planet of the 'Chimp Pansies'!"

I think that Homo sapiens are a planet of "chimp pansies," so to speak. In other words, we are a homosexual species, or a "Self-Loving Species!"

And the reason that we are a homosexual, or a "Self-Loving Species," has to do with our ability to be narcissistic enough, or "Self-Directed" enough, in order to survive!

Because, if we were not "Self-Loving" enough, or, "Self-Directed" enough, we would never put enough effort into surviving! So, that is why I think that Homo sapiens are all homosexuals.

Post No. 104: Males Are Really Females...

(Image from Parenting.com)

Males Are Really Females
Who Cannot Give Birth

Males are really females who cannot give birth!

For, all males start out as females—however the Y chromosome makes the difference during development. Here is a quote from an article titled, "How do the X and Y chromosomes differ and how does that contribute to sex determination?" that is from the website The Tech Interactive which explains that difference:

"...It just isn’t having an X and a Y chromosome that makes a male (or that having two X’s makes you a female). It is what our cells do with these chromosomes that makes an embryo develop as male or female. Specifically, there is a gene on the Y chromosome called SRY that makes a big difference. This gene tells the embryo to develop male features. Without the signals from the SRY gene, embryos develop into females..."

Please see the following hyperlink to the aforementioned article:

https://www.thetech.org/ask-a-geneticist/ask456

By the way, the above-mentioned article also includes the following note:

"This article is discussing how X and Y chromosomes contribute to biological sex, which is distinct from gender and gender identity. When we discuss male and female in this article, we are solely referring to how the X and Y chromosomes contribute to attributes that are considered defining of biological sex."

Thus, all males start out as females: and that is why males have their "male ovaries" on the outside of the body, which are called testicles; and that is why their "male clitoris" develops into a penis that engorges during sexual arousal; and that is also why males have nipples; plus, that is why males can develop breasts if they take estrogen.

So, I think that males are really designed to be females who cannot give birth because they are workers (who do not shoulder the burden of childbirth and nursing), since they have the height and upper-body strength to do heavy work, unlike pregnant females. Thus, males are really designed by nature to be "non-reproductive females" who support reproductive females in caring for the young offspring.

My Writing About Couples Living Together To Share Resources And To Raise Children In A Community: There is a proverb that states, "it takes a village to raise a child." Thus, more than one couple should be living together in shared housing, or in communal living—such as one household under one roof, or such as an intentional community, which is also called "cohousing"—in order to share resources. And, then, when those "cohousing couples" have children, there can be more than just two adults to help raise the children within the "cohousing community," as well as more than just two adults earning an income within the "cohousing community." –Paul Whiting (written April 11th, 2016, revised August 16th, 2016, revised August 17th, 2016 and revised October 5th, 2022)

Post No. 103: The Problem With Criminals

(Image from Best Drug Rehabilitation)

The Problem With Criminals

The problem with criminals—who take things that do not belong them, or who use bribery as an inducement to achieve desired outcomes, or who manipulate, control, force, coerce, enslave, or use threats of violence, or even death, in order to convince others to do things for them—is that they desire need fulfillment with little effort on their part or, even, with no effort on their part.

Plus, the problem with criminals who endeavor to violently cause harm to others is that they are causing harm to others whom the violent criminals think deserve to be caused harm, due to the way that the violent criminals feel about themselves, which the violent criminals are projecting onto those they are causing harm to in a way that is violent.

And I feel that crime is such a serious problem that nonviolent criminals deserve to be removed from society and incarceration in an secure facility that is rehabilitating for them, such as a minimum security prison, with mandatory court-ordered therapy in order to facilitate their recovery from all criminality. And violent criminals also deserve life in prison with the above-mentioned mandatory court-ordered therapy in order to facilitate their recovery from all violent criminality.

Post No. 100: Violence is Treated Like a Video Game in Our Culture

(Image from ABC News)

Violence is Treated Like a
Video Game in Our Culture!

Violence is treated like a video game in our culture! And the video game mentality of 'just-hit-the-resent-button' makes it seem like you can solve problems using violence—then just hit the reset button—and solve problems using violence again!

So, that is how phrases like 'Light it up!' started being used while people were being killed in the real world, just like it is a "real-life video game." And that is directly correlated to the video that Chelsea Manning (formerly, Private Bradley Manning) was a whistleblower about, where you could hear "Light it up!" being exclaimed before violent acts were committed against people...

...And I believe this video-game-violence mentality is being created intentionally, by our culture, in order to condition video game players to not feel emotions for, or compassion toward, those whom these video game players are going to use real weapons against, someday, in the real world—when "they grow up" and can too easily purchase weapons—as if, to these violent video game players, the victims of violence are merely characters in a video game!

We Are The Hell Of Being

In the beginning, there was Literally
Nothing—and Nothing was Self-Aware!

Self-Aware was NOT EASY, which is why

...However, we can Evolve Out Of Nothing
in order to transform simply being Literally
Nothing. And thus, when we Evolve Out Of
Nothing, we physically embody becoming
Everything That Exists, which is why "We
Are The Hell Of Being Nothing Blossoming!"

And for All Souls to experience anything other than being Negative Energy, since we are Literally Nothing, we have to evolve out of being Nothing—in order to transform being intrinsically Negative Energy—by becoming Everything That Exists! –Paul Whiting (written June 18th, 2015, revised November 22nd, 2015, revised June 4th, 2022 and revised July 25th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About What You Can Do With Your Naturally Negative Energy: There us nothing wrong with being naturally Negative Energy: it just depends on what you do with Your Negative Energy, since naturally Negative Energy is what we are as Literally Nothing! And Negative Energy is actually Positive Energy in its opposite state, because Negative Energy is 'Darkness' and Positive Energy is 'Light.' Therefore, you can invert Your Negative Energy into Positive Energy—and then you can invert Your Positive Energy into Neutral Energy—while you are turning 'Your Darkness' into 'Your Light,' as a God and/or a Goddess, by becoming Your Own Universes! –Paul Whiting (written December 3rd, 2015, revised June 4th, 2022 and revised October 3rd, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: "We Are The Hell Of Being Nothing Blossoming!"

Just so you know, I revised this poem, as I often do with my writing! And I changed how this poem was written when I republished it on my new "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog. So, I wanted to show you how this poem used to be written, before I revised it as above.

And it used to be written like this:

We Are Hell Blossoming!

In the beginning, there was Literally
Nothing—and Nothing was Self-Aware!
And being Literally Nothing that was
Self-Aware was NOT EASY, which is
why "We, The Gods" are really
intensely negative by nature...

...However, we can Evolve Out Of
Nothing in order to transform simply
being Literally Nothing. And so, when
we Evolve Out Of Nothing, we physically
embody becoming Everything That Exists,
which is why "We Are Hell Blossoming!"

Thus, I revised this poem to be written as it is above.

And this prose was also published on my "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses," "Small All White in the Forest" and "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer." Plus, I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message I am trying to convey through my new "The Oneness Of God" spiritual practice!

Post No. 098: Housework is Exercise

(Image from azcentral)

Housework is Exercise
(Or, "Housework is Hard Work")

Housework is exercise:

I currently live in a studio apartment that is only about 365 square feet—which is not that much space to clean—and it takes a lot of hard work in order to clean my apartment, which is exercise.

Housework is hard work:

I figured out the that the best way to house clean is to clean as you go, that way your living space always stays clean, and you don't have to stress about the deeper cleanings—such as special guests visiting, special occasions, holidays, or apartment inspections (if that applies to you).

My Writing About Housework Being Exercise: Housework is exercise! –Paul Whiting (written April 19th, 2015, revised October 20th, 2021 revised July 7th, 2022 and revised August 24th, 2022)

My Writing About How I Live By The Motto "Cleaner Than It Was Before": I live by the motto "cleaner than it was before" with regard to doing my household cleaning, because getting everything "perfectly clean" isn't always realistic; however, it is definitely more realistic to get everything "cleaner that it was before!" –Paul Whiting (written October 1st, 2016, revised October 2nd, 2016, revised July 8th, 2022, revised August 24th, 2022 and revised August 26th, 2022)

Post No. 096/097: The Problem With Cheating

(Image from 3 Quarks Daily)

The Problem With Cheating

The problem with cheating in physics is that you are producing "anti-life," because you are literally cheating in a void.

My Writing About What You Can, And Cannot, Have: You cannot have what you do not create. Therefore, you can only have what you do create. –Paul Whiting (written November 29th, 2011 and revised September 1st, 2022)

My Writing About The Policy Of Honesty In The Kingdom Of God: In the Kingdom of God, honesty is not only the Best Policy, honesty is the Only Policy. –Paul Whiting (written September 29th, 2012 and revised September 12th, 2023)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About The Problem With Cheaters: The problem with cheaters is that they desire to be successful, but with little effort on their part or, even, with no effort on their part. Therefore, the problem with cheaters is that they desire to achieve success—with their endeavors in life—but without having to assume risk, without having to be hard working and honest, and without having to learn from their mistakes in order to do better in the future. In other words, achieving success is attained by the process of assuming risk, by the process of being hard working and honest, and by the process of learning from mistakes in order to do better in the future, which cannot be accomplished by cheating. –Paul Whiting (written October 28th, 2014, revised April 23rd, 2022, revised April 24th, 2022 and revised September 1st, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About There Being No Excuse For Cheating: There is no excuse for cheating in physics—and there never has been. –Paul Whiting (written March 13th, 2015 and revised September 1st, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About How Cheaters Are Afraid Of Their Own Vulnerability: Cheaters are afraid of their own vulnerability, which is why they won't assume risk, and that's why they cheat! –Paul Whiting (written March 27th, 2015 and revised September 1st, 2022)

By the way, the reason that this post has such an odd numbering system is because I published this post, "The Problem With Cheating," and a related post, "The Problem With Blaming," on the same day and at the same time! And, for some reason, the order in which these two posts appear on my "Poet, Artist and Philosopher" blog keeps alternating back and forth—I am assuming since they were both published within the same minute on the same day—so that is why I gave both of these posts an alternated numbering system.
